I have new shoes :D When I was dragged into TK Maxx yesterday I could not resist a browse in the shoe section and fell in love. I now own these Hush Puppies, which are last season (I think), but were £29.99, down from around £65!
They are suede on the outside, with a leather upper interior (I am not usually a buyer of leather, but made an exception this once) and a real wood heel. They are also waterproofed according to the label, so don't need to be subjected to me spraying them.
They have an amazingly good grip (my main shoe gripe) and look great with the black jeans I was wearing today, so hopefully can be dressed down for everyday use, as the chunky heel allows that really. I have been looking for some everyday shoes recently, after my favourite boots are wearing to nothing, but have found nothing with grip on in the shops lately. I think these will do for now on days when I don't want to wear my pumps. Yay!
