A Tasty Bite of Pop Culture

Leading on from  my TV post, I wanted to share a few images from my latest baking exploit. I decided, as you do, that I wanted to decorate a batch of cupcakes purely with The Big Bang Theory related pictures and messages. I decided to make dark choc chip and cherry cupcakes, since I had half a pack of each which were screaming to be used up. One they were cool I mixed up 3 different colours of icing (blue, yellow and red) and covered a few cakes in each.

Thinking up a few ideas for the cupcakes I went with some of the key motifs from the show:
Its logo and trademark cut scene elements

 The rock, paper, scissors, lizard, spock game that Sheldon favours

A nod to the theme tune

 That classic and beautiful song, 'Soft Kitty'

 And, of course, that all important catchphrase 'Bazinga!'
