Mondays are my TV nights now. They are the one day I have free from uni and work, so I like to get some work out of the way during the day and kick back to catch up on my favourite shows during the evening. I have a routine that I follow throughout the week if I can watching certain shows online on certain nights, as soon as they have aired, since I work evenings, but I can't always do this due to how much reading I have to do. At the moment my must watch shows are:
Desperate Housewives- I missed a couple of series along the way, but it is the last one now, eek!
Glee- I came late to this show, not having seen much of season 1 yet, but love to have my musical fix now.
New Girl- Zooey has long been a favourite of mine, right from her smaller roles such as in The Good Girl and Almost Famous, so I am loving that she has now become a regular TV feature, and the episodes just get better each time!)
The Big Bang Theory- I own every boxset now, although again started watching it after a series or two was began to air. Now I have to watch this religiously as soon as it comes out.
Junior Doctors: Your Life in Their Hands- It is nice seeing an insight into what must be an incredibly demanding career.
One Born Every Minute- Again, I adore this, the massive range of birthing experiences is so fascinating, and the end result is always so perfect :)
Sun, Sex and Suspicious Parents- Just hilarious at times.
Take Me Out- Casual funny stuff with Paddy.
Copycats- I know it is a children's show, but I love it. The premise is great and it is just pure entertainment watching things be relayed along a line, chinese whisper style.
There are probably a few I am forgetting off the top of my head, but these are ones I always keep up to date with. I also love to watch my quiz shows, like Pointless, if I have the time (<3 Alexander!) and some typical daytime TV, like Escape to the Country. I have a strange and varied taste sometimes I think.
I am also starting to watch Pretty Little Liars from the beginning at the minute. I am not hooked yet, but it is nice to watch an episode or two when I have time, as it can be a long wait for new episodes of some the others sometimes what with the breaks they have in America.
So yep, on Monday nights you know where you can find me. At home, with a cup of tea and maybe a cake or biscuit, and a weeks worth of pure entertainment to catch up on. Perfect.
